So you're at Rucker eh? Did you make it to the gun show last weekend? There was a fella there selling some decent straight razors. None of them were ready to go to work but I picked up a couple.

I guess this is becoming news but really that part of the world is well known for mineral resources and all kinds of gems and has been for a very long time. I was watching Rachel Maddow last night who spent a few days there and she was in a gem shop and was quoted $143 a carat for Emeralds. They weren't top quality but were gem quality. Afghanistan is especially famous for Lapis and Turquois

Your right although the prices are a lot better outside of the camps. You can also get some very fine hand made rugs that make there way from Iran for between 300 and 500. Brass items are also all over and coins dating back to Alexander the great although I didn't buy any of those because I couldn't tell real from fake. Also some of the best knockoff watches I've seen. Oh yeah check out the six toes on the rug merchant he explained his father and grandfather also had them. The last pic I included as I feel its one of the best pictures I took over there I captured the fireball coming out of the back of an RPG
