Here are a few links to some very good Castello historical information. I am thinking perhaps yours is a number 292 since it has a nub at the shank end? Just a thought. See the second link.

Five Brothers in a cob. Very, very relaxing and a beautiful day here to boot.
You're correct. A senior moment on my part. I took a look and I also have a Sea Rock with the faux diamond, and one stamped 'Old Sea Rock' as well. I think what I was thinking of was the Old Antiquari in the white bar is always a sandblast, but in the diamond it is the rusticated, like a Sea Rock, but with the 'fumed' top.
Thanks to shikano53 for posting the links to Mike Glukler's Briar Blues site. Good historical info. Here are the 3 I mentioned, the Old Antiquari (fumed top) the Sea Rock, and the Old Sea Rock ;

Some "Danish Cherry" I unearthed from my smoking basket. Loaded in a basket pipe. Unsure how it's gonna go due to just eating cup o noodles with kimchi.
Those are beautiful pipes, Jimmy

Your Cavicchi is a beautiful pipe.
I enjoyed a cob with Haunted Bookshop this morning and I now understand why it has a dedicated group of followers.
Just finished Mac Baren Club Blend roll cake in an estate Lorenzo Gran Canadian. I enjoyed the club blend and it surprised me with
it's strength.

Some Bayou Morning in a KKK Castello Collection with a small briar extension. Trying to plan my days off. Going to the range, cleaning the basement, need to reset the bevel on a TI, mow the lawn, etc. Too many things to do, not enough time. Need to retire, again. On the plus side it will be in the 70's and beautiful today.
Those are beautiful pipes.
I've been watching before the brands and pipe shapes you folks smoke there on the other side of the bond. Some of those shapes are very unusual here at the old continent.
While most folks here like their pipes with more 'traditional' shapes, i've never even seen brands like Castello or Ser Jacopo being availabe in almost any European shop, be it b&m or web sales. And the same goes with coloured stems or freehand shapes like Nørdings and so on. Guess they all go for US exports only.
Personally i think it's a shame. There's room for all kinds of shapes. I guess maybe pipe smokers here go more with traditions :shrug:
