The cigar butt ended up rendering 3 bowls of pipe tobacco. At the moment, I've gone a bit more conventional with some Old Joe Krantz in a Whitehall Grand National. Old Joe Krantz isn't billed as a cigar blend but I find it plenty cigary and all the vitamin N a growing boy needs. Coupled up with a cup of cafe con leche, I should be bouncing off the ceiling by the time I get to work. As it turns out, I need that kick in the pants this morning. I could have easily slept 3 or 4 more hours. Yes, it's true, a cup of coffee and a pipe are indeed a beautiful combination.
GI,
Have you ever tried mixing what's left of your cigar with pipe tobacco? I haven't, but i know few mates who do it every now and then. I think they mix it with unscented blends like Hal O' the Wynd or Capstan Navy Cut or whatever. That should make some nice cigarish aroma if you like such.
I'm not into cigars but i like your idea of using remains of cigar and not let it go into waste.
Escudo in a Pete silver spigot. A wonderful tobacco. Just opened a tin for late fall...

Hearth and Home Stogie in a Kaywoodie Flame Grain Meerschaum then I'm gonna lay down and take a nap before work. Too late to shave and to be honest Sunday night's was such a beauty I really don't need one anyway.
Late afternoon pipe. Peterson UF from Stanwell

And late afternoon birdie as well. This has absolutely nothing to do with pipes. Just a little dude that kept sitting in a tree next to our house.
