Just came across this web site. Spent the last two hours listening to 'The Wendigo" by Algemon Blackwood and had a good long two hour puff with the Pilots Mix and the Viking Supreme Briar. This is an excellent site for smoking and listening to good creepy stories. Man I just simply love this time of year !! Chilling Tales For Dark Nights | Who Needs Sleep Anyway?. And it's stories like this that make me proud to be from Northern Michigan. I can tell you from experience that it gets scary dark up in those woods and could unnerve a fella if they were by themselves in those woods at night........did you hear that ? Must've been the wind ?? BOO !!:chapeau
This is a Wendigo Wendigo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia There's that noise again ?????
We of course call it Halloween but yes.....I love everything about Fall...spooky stories and Thanksgiving feasts(sans football games), Jack-O-lanterns and cornfields, changing of the leaves, Bulky warm well worn clothes, a good pipe , I am all over it and about it. When I die I have asked the good lord to see to it that it happens in the Fall. I wanna be buried under a nice old Maple tree in the Back cemetery where my spirit can hang out unbothered. LOL. :)And I will be buried in my kilt !!

Pipe pulled up clean !! crap all over my face, and in my eyes. Did a real good job of cleaning out all the clinkers !! War Office just reckons I am a wanker !!
Bloody percussion caps in the top pocket, just plain forgot they were there, typical of me to have a real 19century stuff up !!!
