Well,I'm off to go work out a little. Between Sailor,Jon and myself, it seems as though we're all experiencing a bit of rough weather today. Good piping weather eh guys ? See ya all a bit later mebbe .........
Storms here too, though not cold. I envy you blokes your cheap tobacco. You haven't got it too bad price wise you know! Anyway I'm off to have a nice cup of tea, smoke my pipe and read a bit of my book. Cherry Cav again. The last of it. I might get something different whenever next I get some more tobacco. Maybe a tin or Amphora again. I like that one too...:)

I have yet to find a GL Pease blend I like very much; I think that puts me in the minority of pipers, many of whom wax poetic about his blends. Nonetheless he writes a great FAQ. Here is a helpful one: G. L. Pease - Frequently Asked Questions
It is rainy here but not suppose to be stormy until tomorrow. My pipe of the day was with my grandson on a walk with our flashlights. He is 2.5 years. I am introducing him to my love of flashlights. :rofl2: With the new LED's it is fun to be able to play with them and not worry about battery costs.
Yeah that! They really do work like a champ. You can do the boiling water/seal thing if you'd like but I've got stuff over five years old that was simply dumped in the jar and the lid twisted tight and it keeps just fine.
So I've decided it may be time for something totally different. I'm generally a creature of habit when it comes to my pipe tobacco (American Codger Burley with only brief flings outside the lines). But sometimes you just have to mix it up a bit. I'm generally not a huge fan of English blends (but I will occassionally go on a Squadron Leader or Early Morning Pipe binge.) This time though I'm going way outside the normal parameters and have decided to try Gawith and Hoggarth's Happy Brown Bogie. Apparently it's a vitamin N powerbar. I'm reading a lot of "smoke it in a small bowl" and "definitely a bedtime smoke" at tobaccoreviews. com so this is probably right up my alley. Any of you fellas have any intel?
