I neglected to mention the pipe in question was an Erickson...low budget pipe. Still, those are not always bad either. sometimes ya find a good one on the bargain shelf.

I'm not sure if it's the same brand but i have one (estate) Eriksen. Eriksen pipes are Nørding 2nd, known to be decent pipes. Mine is a short stem straight with huge bowl and thick walls. Have to get pic later.
Now as i mentioned. For reasons i do not know, Nørding and such 'free hand' pipes are almost unknown here. Maybe local folks have more traditional taste or something, or then all the freehands just go to US/Canada imports??

Love the old school kitchy duck mug. I swear Jon, your a brother from another mother.lol. I grew up with stuff like that. I remember my grandmother having this big mural sized painting of deer in the woods hanging on her wall that I always loved. Wished I knew whatever happened to it but I got these that I bought years ago back in my birth town in Grayling Michigan. Attachment 155887 and with that, I'm off to errands I think. Maybe a pipe might be in my future...we'll see.

I used to get SPS from my local when I first started out. As far as aromatics, you'll probably like this. Be careful and sip it though. Tongue bite will be rewarded with aggressive draws on aromatics. Enjoy. If you like this brand I might recommend Barbados Plantattion. that was yummy and smelled awesome. Has a sweet rum flavor:)
Thinking about straight pipes tonight. Finishing up the Frog Morton. Maybe 2 more bowls. The cap got left loose and it got a little dry. Not terrible but I better use it up before I try anything else.
