Take a look at Hamilton they are in your price range but I don't know about the left crown. Why not just get a casio G shock?

if you do get watch AD, check out watchuseek.com it's where all of us WIS hang out.
I'll have to take some time to look at Hamilton. G-shocks that I remember (long time ago) were all massive and rubbery, and I never liked that overcomplicated look. I'll check them again too.
The Pro Diver, like the Seiko Monster, looks really ugly to me. I don't like such a huge bezel and small face. Funny you mention Watchuseek, though; I came across there when running google searches and spent hours reading around. Mostly stuff out of my price range...
Get a pocket watch. Yes they still make them, and yes, they run on battery too.
Jimbo,
I have one too, but mine is cooler than yours! My sister gave it to me for Christmas God knows how many years ago--maybe 1993-94. Aside from the clock and calculator, it also holds up to 50 names and phone numbers. YES! I just pulled it out of my sock drawer and the original batteries (for the calculator/phone nbrs) are still good! And judging by some of the phone nbrs, it had to be 1993. I liked the analog watch face, but the calculator and phone nbrs were absolutely worthless so it got tossed into my sock drawer. Oh, I still got the instruction manual that came with it!
Namaste,
Morty -_-
I kept an eye out on Ebay (cause that's where I do all my shopping :-) ) and eventually an Invicta 2770 popped up at a good price, so I pulled the trigger. Here's two wrist shots; the second one showing my Citizen 8700 for comparison. The Invicta is 46mm... I have a pretty small wrist and I'm used to looking down at my 40mm (I think) Citizen, so the Invicta looks sort of like a clock at the moment. I'm sure I'll get used to it, though. It's so much lighter than the Citizen because of the band, and it wears very nicely.
