I've always had a thing for Big Band music, and for me, that's 1940s stuff.
1940s Radio has a good mix of styles, streams (from England) 24/7, and features both live and recorded programming (+ they accept email requests!)

My mother loved Big Band Swing, her favorite was Glen Miller's In The Mood. I had it played it at the end of her funeral services, my sister had held up pretty well till then but she lost it as it began.

Here's another of her favorites. I have a CD copy of Benny Goodman and his band the performance at Carnegie Hall. On the CD this tune is over 12 minutes long. What's funny is that Goodman didn't know they were recording the show!
