Perhaps It's Time to Reinstitue an Old Custom

I live in Germany and do love the line of bock, keller and voll biers here, not to mention the hefe. But, the whiskey that pinklather mentioned struck a note with me. I have a difference of oppinion among my peers, friends and the like. Whom I might add are all quite mistaken when it comes to the finger measurement. They sheepishly measure theirs two fingers horizontal. Honestly guys, I'm doing my best to educate these backwards, albeit well intentioned, yet perpendicularly oriented novices. What do you fellows say? Horizontal or vertical with the fingers?

If going with German then vertical!!!!!! When I still partook of the fermented liquids, always went after the German. The darker the bier, the better!

I love a good shower beer. Every Saturday morning. I call the shower the War Room. That's were all the important things get discussed for the day.

Not sure if I could manage a shower beer. Although I do love freezing air conditioning and a beer. Also I love to have a ice cold beer chilling on the beach looking at the beautiful ocean.

I like shower beer, it's very relaxing! :)

Right now I'm having sofa metaxa.

I must just be too young to have ever even heard of this. But what a concept! Having a cold home brew in a hot shower after a long day. Sounds awesome. My eyes have truly been opened!

I'm thinking of having one right now! Last time I had a beer in the shower was in my younger days, running late for work and trying to take the edge off a hangover. :rofl2:

Have enjoyed many a shower beer over the years. :beer2:
They are especially good after a busy day doing work around the yard (though I always enjoy shower beers after caving trips too)

At a similar time to college I partook in the odd morning shower beer, when the whole drinking thing had only been briefly interrupted for some sleep. I figured if the drinking was going to continue the next day then it might as well start off right. ;)

I always maintain that I'm not an alcoholic as I don't go to "those" sort of meetings...
