So I worked on this property supervising the staff, and dividing my time between doing farm work and basically cowboying for tourists. One of the things I had to do was whip cracking demonstrations, so I got pretty handy with them, using them every day for moving cattle, or for showing off to foreign women.
I have a few. The nicest is a full plate kangaroo one, but for work we really only used cheaper red hide stock whips, because they would always end up wet, or wrapped around things. If I dig some out I'll take a picture to show what they look like.
