Default HELP ME PICK A NEW CAR

Ok my current lease is being transferred and I need to pick a new family car.
The problem is I can't make up my mind lol.
I have 2 kids and oh yea the wife. The current car is a Toyota Rav4 way too small.
I have the following cars I need to pick from Honda Odyssey or Pilot and the Nissan Pathfinder.
I need something with plenty of trunk room for the kids stuff when we go on road trips. So if any other suggestion please feel free.
    Thanks for your help

isn't the Pilot in the same class as Rav 4?

Pilot has the 3rd row seating you must be thinking of the Toyota 4runner.

I think he was thinking of the Honda CRV. Looks like your fairly committed to Japanese 8 passenger vehicles? If not the tahoe/suburban or GMC equivalent is a nice pick for SUV, while the VW routan minivan would get my vote as best minivan out there. The Nissan Maurano might also deserve a place on your list although with the third row trunk space is limited. I prefer Nissan to Honda or Toyota but there is no reason other then rooting for the underdog and I think their styling is slightly better. Either way if you stick with them I can't see reliabilty ever being an issue and resale value should stay relatively high so it just a matter or finding one you like the look of the most and are most comfortable driving.

I voted pilot my uncle had one and loved it. But I must say the seats were killer for long hauls but his was also one of the early ones. You may also check out the Ford explorer I've heard theyre really nice too. Good luck.
No that pistol isn't the only thing under my kilt, but I can tell you both of them work just fine

Dodge journeys are really nice cars. They have a ton of room. They have three rows of seats in which the third row folds down. I'm five feet 9 inches and can lay down in the back (with the seats folded down) and not touch either the back hatch or the 2nd row seats. Tons of wonderful features too.

I have a 2007 Pathfinder with almost 55,000 miles on it.
I've changed the oil 3 times. That's the only work i've ever done it.
Original tires, brakes, even wiper blades. I get about 19mpg, which isn't that bad.
    And I can tow 6,000lbs.

I think people place way to much importance on MPG ratings... The way you drive plays a much bigger role than many people know. I have an '03 Monte Carlo with nearly 100k on it that I can get 34 combine miles on without a problem, my friend has a brand new Honda fit and only gets about 30 MPG. Now obviously if she was driving it properly she could top my Monte Carlo easy but she doesn't which is my point. Keep the RPMs down and shift early and mileage shouldn't be a problem.

Most hondas BMWs and toyotas are built in the US. In Ohio, South Carolina and Indiana respectfully. But I do agree I try to buy American any time I can. BTW I drive a 2003 Ford ZX2
