Up and running, can make a pack of 20 in about 5mins,piece of cake, just need to get used to pure tobacco without all the additive crap,is a major differance.
In the US you can still buy tobacco leaves online without the tax screw. I'm planning to do this. You have to wet the leaves and cut them up, but other than that they're the same as loose tobacco. You'll have to work out your own blends and so forth, but having control like that could actually be turned into a good thing.
In the past (about 25 years) i smoked tabacco whit the name, Drum halfzware/ Samson halfzware and later on Van Nelle thats the more heavy stuff.
The smell of onmoked. Van Nelle tabacco is still great, but ones lighted smells like crapp.
Most of the time i used Rixla paper
Now i'm rolling Old Holborn Yellow tobacco with Juicy Jay Rum leafs ... and I love it !!
If your talking real handrolled.I rolled smoking materials for years, always used Zigzag yellows.
You will reach the state of the art when you can roll one with one hand:)
