Mine retracts like a tape measure so I just keep it reeled in if I'm carrying.
;)
Seriously, the barrel rides right next to everything in the hollow between the pelvis and thigh when you're sitting down.

Ruger LCP in wallet holster. Lots of times I forget its there
I leave the house with an American Mastiff. Haven't gotten my CCW yet, but my plan to soon. In the meantime, can't think of a better, more loyal deterrent/protector for my wife and kids than our lovable gentle giant. Attachment 113793
It stays pretty regular when I use either 115 gr or the 124 gr, I havnt tried the 147 gr yet. It tends to drift a little to the right and up with 115 standards, but dead center with any +p rounds. It loves 124 gr +p hallow points. At 7 m it is about 2in high, at 25 its closer to 4 in high.
I pulled the trigger on the Kimber Ultra CDP II yesterday, it can't ship fast enough! Now I have to get extra ammo, mags, and holster...
Here's a linky for it: Kimber America | Ultra CDP II
I looked and couldn't find it. Could you provide a link where you found that information? I found an excellent article at: GUN CONTROL FACT-SHEET (2004) - Gun Owners Of America, but haven't found similar info on the FBI's site.Quote:
Instead of getting your facts on Wiki, which are uasally wrong, go to the F.B.I website and see for yourself how many times EACH week a handgun is used to protect someone.Thats a much more accurate place for stats.
That just does not look comfortable sitting or doing daily activities, much less driving in a car or sitting at a desk. I carry at all times (except in the hospital)once I get dressed and out of the shower and see no reason to carry this way. YMMV and it does for me. The only weapon that is carried cross draw and very rare occasions is the S&W snub airweight 360. But with that I can count on one hand the times I do that over the course of the year. I don't see the advantage of 11 and 1 o'clock carry over 4-5 oclock in a crossbreed holster style. I've tried them all in civillian and combat carry.
You sir will LOVE IT!!!! I expect updates once it comes in!!!!

I don't carry anything cross draw.
I'm a lefty that was raised to shoot righty.
I feel much more in control with the gun in my right hand and knife in the left hand.
Comfort? I'm either behind a desk or on the road, at work. Never even know its there. I can bend over at the waist and pull weeds out of the flower bed and not even have to readjust it.
Where it might be different for us is that I wear the waist of my pants at the top of my hip/femur socket versus some that wear them higher because I sport noass and a Dunlap gut.
