No, seriously, several months & post ago in this thread I said I'd take my 12+1 XD45C over 1911 any day. My, how times change. Forget RAD, I have 1911AD. Ivory's inbound for the V-bob, and it conceals IWB a lot nicer than the XD.

Not to be off topic but I saw some .300 win mag in the ar-15 platform in a magazine ad today, my shoulder cries thinking about a semi auto .300 mag......but seems fun.
I like those 1911's RJD, my Kimber 3 inch barrel is and will probably always be my first choice ccdw firearm. Me and 2 of the barbers working for me always have 1911's on us at all times, I pity the guy who tries to hold up a barber shop.

Without pics...it never happened, you have been around long enough to know that (that's a prerequisite to joining :rofl2:). I've got a 4" 101, but never thought about carrying it concealed though.Quote:

This seems to be the thread that just keeps giving. I picked up a Sig 938 a few months ago. It has become my new carry piece. It is really nice.
