I bounce between a Sig P938 SAS, a Ruger SR1911C, and a Walther PPS 9mm depending on the season and situation. All of them appendix carry, the p938 may get thrown in a boot or pocket on a very rare occasion. I think the next purchase will be an officers model 1911 with alloy frame to replace the Walther in the carry lineup. I love the walther and wont sell it but I would like to have cocked and locked across the board.
I recommend shooting a compact 1911, I honestly have picked up multiple pistols after aquiring my Kimber ultra raptor II and all sit in the safe because the accuracy isnt even remotely on par. I have a p938 as well and will probably be trading off all but 2 pistols, I only need my kimber, and 1 pistol for my wife who also has her ccdw, she likes her S&W .380 bodyguard. Plus I have a friend with a competition modified Remington 700 .308 im wanting to trade for lol.Quote:

Dunno if this might help, but I recently picked up a Glock G-42 380, brand new. I had a lot of problems with feeding. The guy at the LGS took a look at it while I was in the range and figured out that the rounds I was having a problem with were very blunt. A more tapered bullet fed just fine. Also, I was loading the mag and releasing the slide with the slide lock release. He showed me that if I 'slingshotted' it, the increased momentum would chamber the round. Talking about the blunt bullets with little or no taper. Anyway .......Quote:
