Interesting. I carry IWB, and never had holes. But then, my 1911's are bobbed. It works!
Are your shirts tucked in? What kind of holster?

Crossbreed holsters when IWB, various makes when OWB in cooler weather.
Ihave owned quite a few 1911's and have a half dozen in the safe right now and I have to say it's the "one" I have been looking for over the years. You can find them at several hundred off msrp on gunbroker and just have them shipped to a ffl you deal with. I have about 1K down the tube on this one and I can't be more happy. I have kept it box stock, but plan on changing the grips when I find the ones I like...wouldn't mind some slimmer grips. I don't recommend the ultra/3" 1911's unless it's just going to be a carry gun and that's it. Mine is an everything gun from carry to target to going into the woods with me on opening day tomorrow hunting for white tail deer...it will just be carried OWB instead of IWB. As far as carry, I honestly can't tell or feel any difference between it and the ultra 1911. You can't beat the accuracy of a 5" 1911 due to the longer sight radius...but for an all purpose 1911 I HIGHLY recommend the Super Carry Pro. Fair warning, plan on buying a few wilson mags as kimber only ships pistols with one mag...which I think is silly. Of the three full size 1911's I have in the safe, this one shoots just as good and "just feels right" with that rounded butt. If you were to honor your father with such a fine weapon, I am sure it would be one of the greatest gifts he has ever received.
Hey did you guys see this?
Smartphone? No, it's a gun in your pocket! - The Economic Times
You can say what you like about Taurus Pistols, but this is pretty ingenious really :).

From that link:
"To prevent accidental firing, the Curve has a key attached that can be turned to engage a security lock, and make sure it does not accidentally fire while in the pocket."
Not very convenient if you need to use it.

Either of these seem to work just fine.
Vbobs? Sure are purdy...
My general carry switches between a Glock 26 in 9mm using G19 magazines, Glock 30S in .45 ACP or my Sunday going to meeting carry is a Kimber Ultra Crimson Trace. If just running out to the little mart up the road, sometimes I just toss my Glock 42 in my pocket. The wife is pretty consistent with her Sig 938.
