Yes Fahrenheit,
So you think the edge chipping is down to the blade being too hard? You may well be right but I'm just checking :)
No, just the honing is too hard and the steel is very rigid. The good news, I could shave with it. The result is 8/10. The edge is almost undamaged. :)
One more round and I get to the finish, I hope.
Thank you all for your help!
This thought problem is developing well. All the advice given prior to my arrival is solid. From the sound of your last post, the edge may need only to have the little decarburized steel removed and will then perform as you expected. I think you're on the right track.
Thank you, Mike!
One more question, maybe stubid. :) I completed the re-tempering. This procedure on 425 degrees does not cause any trauma in the thin edge like the over-polishing?
The danger comes from not pre-heating the oven you are using.
Let the oven pre-heat and stabilize, then put your blade in...or it can damage the blade where it's thin.
No honest question is stupid here. We are all learning, those who aren't learning are the fools.
Thank you guys! I preheted and stablized the oven before I put the blade.

This color is also given a new design idea. :)
Good looking blade my friend
Thanks! I hope it will be a good shaver too. :)
