    Default My first Forge

I put this charcoal forge together with an old WOK that I drilled holes into and then bolted an old gas burner [from a crawfish boiler] to the underside and cut a notch in the side to access the hot coals from a level angle.

Then took a saucepan and cut a notch for the burner to allow for the wok to sit level.

Burner attaches to my air compresor for air source. Give very good heat with 100# of pressure blowing into bottom of wok.

Used one layer of ceramic brickettes around air holes and charcoal atop.

Also rigged up a pair of tongs. RED flag for still HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

any input welcome for tweeking it.
