Thought this might be some fun.
It is a rare opportunity for me to get to use my own razors with all the honing I do every day, so this coming year I am making a resolution to get out some of my favorite personal shavers and use them.
What are you guys going to do?

Well, since Santa was nice enough to get me a set of Naniwas for Christmas, I think I will start honing my own razors this year.
Looking to learn how to set bevels and start learning the basics of honing. I am also trying hard to get a meetup started here in the Chicago area. I want to master my razor collection, and if not wanting to use a razor, being able to share my investments with others. I have one gent near Chicago who has contacted me, and I will help him get started in the art of straights. I am far from a master, but know just enough to be dangerous. I am hoping to meet up with Lynn when he comes to Chicago. I got three new brushes for Christmas and I will be breaking them in as quickly as possible, so that I can try them all. I have a Semogue 1305, a Vie-long 12705 horse hair, and a Omega Professional Boar Hair Shaving Brush. I am very impressed with the Vie-Long so far. Taking a long time to defunk the smell, but i build lather with it everyday in a large plastic bowl while I watch tv. I look to make great friends and acquaintances from the forums. The SRD Logo razor from Mastro Livi, a Charlie Lewis, a Bob Allman, a Robert Williams, a Joe Chandler an old vintage Bismarck, a Sta Sharp, Wonderedge, a vintage Henckels carbon, an old W&B choppah, vintage Boker and Genco and a bunch of others.
