Ya know Phrank, I never even considered a problem with the alum block, if that's what you are suggesting. I will not use it for the next several days and see if that has anything to do with the flare ups. Nothing that I have read so far has indicated any problems with alum. But you never know.Quote:

I often wonder about alum, I also use it on my finger tips to assist traction with stretching.
I have noticed that sometimes I get as much of a reaction from it as a alcohol splash, but I usually put that down to shaving to close.
I think I will join in with not using it for the week and see how it goes…..
