Solingen Shave Shops?

Hey Everybody,

I'm new to the forum and about to be new to straight shaving. I have been using a safety razor for the past 4 years and have decided it's time for a change. As luck would have it, I will be in Solingen, Germany this weekend. I was hoping some of you out there would be able to recommend a shaving supply store or shop where I can buy a straight razor.

At the very least, what are some things I should be looking for to ensure I purchase a quality blade and not just something shiny with Solingen stamped on it? I will do my due diligence and go through the different resources this site and the internet has to offer, but any help from you all would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know where it is but if you could get into Revisors shop that would be incredible. They have an amazing selection of NOS and mint blades that would makes your eyes bug out, maybe ever permanently

Their current offerings won't fail to impress either. This is an address on their website but not necessarily where a store front might be located. You'd have to dig a little deeper to find out if this is in fact a walk in address.
