Question What do you think about this one ?

    Hi
I can get this nice razor
    What do you think?

    Dubl Duck Goldedge
Worth getting for a nice one and practice honing on it?
    Also
Is it made of steel or Carbon?
And what is the size of it? 6/8 or 5/8?
    Tank you!

I don't think you can do much better other than getting a Williams or a Livi. It could go high, though.
AFIK it's made of carbon-steel, not stainless.
If you get it, have it honed by someone else and get another practice piece.

I would not use that as a pratice razor. Thats a nice "I know what I'm doing" razor.

I think its a HIGH quality carbon steel in 5/8s, thats a very uneducated guess.

Yeah, I'd say for the price those things are going for, send it out. Don't practice on it.

Alan is right on with his answer to your question before you even asked it. Goldedge is considered to be the mack-daddy of them all and this one looks like it's in a very good condition.
