Default Do other get a little nervous when stropping?

Is it just me or do others get a little nervous when they strop their razor? I have once cut my thumb as I rolled the razor over and fear it's going to happen again or slice my hand -- the hand which I use to hold the end of the strop. I always wear something on my feet for fear that I'll drop the razor and take off a toe.

I never take the razor into the cutting range, so I don't see it happening.

Just take your time stropping. It's no rush job, I often strop at night when I am more relaxed. I never try to improve Lynn's world record stropping speed that he happily shows off on demo videos.

You see, it's not so much that they have no fear of losing a limb as it is they just don't have that much to lose.

Actually my biggest issue with commando shaving is I just can't get close enough to the mirror (if you get my drift <g>)
