    Default Traveling Nightmare

On a family road trip and I forgot my shaving cream!! I packed a couple little sample containers just for this trip, but yup, I forgot them.

    The hotel had this solution:

Not exactly what I was hoping for lol ... but it'll have to do. Which kind of sucks as shaving on the road is a little sanctuary for me .

Experiment. Try a little of that with the bar soap in the bathroom. If your lucky it's something like Dove :<0) When your outside of your box , enjoy thinking outside the box.

I always leave a brush and tube of shave cream in my suitcase. That way I never forget it.

I get my face REALLY wet and then rub on the bar soap to my beard, then face lather. If they have it, I try hair conditioner as a softener first, then the soap trick. Or find a nearby store that has nivea or noxema as a pre-shave. With a DE I've shaved with just water...don't recommend it, but it can be done with a LOT of water on the face!

Well I face lathered like a champ because I seemingly left my brush with my soaps lol. You know, it wasn't the end of the world.

But I jest not. The face is dry.

I am in the gift shop at Mt. Rushmore and they have some Buffalo Tallow soap. This should be fun - it smells good .

It might double as a survival ration in a pinch.
