Was just looking at them, very cool way to go and have fun camping without some excellent sleeping arrangements and some luxury...some very cool feature on the inside...wish I had something like that during some pretty wild and crazy May 2 4 (in Canada, it's called the May Two-Four) weekends when we all went camping.
Awesome, so what plans do you have for it?
It is to late for this years May 2-4 and I am in the US not Canada. :)
I have always thought these were neat and I hope that it lasts close to as long as my last camper. A pop-up. I sold it last year after 21 years! I hope to keep a diary in this one. The last one had about 75 nights early in its career when one of my children decided to use the diary to start a fire.:( [My youngest is 21 now.]
We tried to go to speed week at Bonneville last year but we got as far as Salt lake City when it flooded the second time in 100 years. I have a couple of weekends to test it out before then. I was planning to go through Utah etc. but my daughter is moving to Vancouver Washington. Change of Plans! I am flexible and it will work out! I hope my son doesn't kill my fish by overfeeding them like he did last year. [ The 21 year old that still lives at home....]
I digress again. :rofl2:
I can hang a strop on one of the interior walls so rolling etc. would be no problem. I can put a couple of hones in a cubby where I can get at them if needed. There will be no hot water unless I change my ways and heat it up on the stove. I think I have a way to hang a brush on the side so it will dry out between uses. The mirror is where I am having issues..............
The thing is so shiny new I could sit on the tailgate and use the aluminum top at least for a few miles!:rofl2:
On the Forum page this thread reads: My new toy needs a shave...Sounded kind of funny at 7:30 AM.
Cool little camper!
Do they still make those?
I like those! Been wanting one......but!
Does yours have the pop up cover kitchen shelving at the rear? Some do and have a rain tarp that surrounds it about one people width away from the trailer when the pop cover opens.
~Richard
They do still make them, are quite a few on ebay, spendy little things:)
Really cool. Nice thing to have.....................a home away from home!
Yes, for a tall guy I'd have to get the Little Guy 6, some of them are kitted right out...love the idea of being able to take a workable sleeping area on the road without having to have a big truck to move the thing...one day I plan to pick something like this up and take my extensive road trip tour through the Southern US and do some exploration of Civil War sites...this looks like a perfect trailer to use.
Too Cool!
The missus and I were discussing retirement plans and I said I want to haul a teardrop all across Canada and down into Mexico!
That should be a ton of fun!
Congrats!
Mike
That Teardrop is the Shave Den,,, sleep in the bed of the truck,, there is a cover over it,,,,
If that is a window I see on the side you could have it replaced with a mirror. That's a nice size camper wish I had had one back in the 60's and 70's. The ground got cold in deer camp.
The first test run. My wife says that I am obsessing.

Gonna get one to be yanked by my '50 Studebaker. If anyone will give me time to finish it! :banghead:
That cooler can keep your hones cool while traveling the highway,,,
Thanks - some very solemn places I'd like to be a witness to...some of the old, "World at War" DVD's I have covering WWI, I have an, "in colour" version, in the Victory Parade at the end of WWI, there are soldiers marching, and at the end of the line of the parade...there are dozens and dozens of soldiers marching wearing the Blue and the Gray uniforms, veterans of that war. A monumental tragedy, and it really didn't happen that long ago, something I've always wanted to respectfully visit.
Stay up dare Phrank !!!!
Don't you come down here stirren things up again !!! Attachment 207257
What...dozen donuts, some Tim's Double-doubles and a hockey stick can't cause much trouble can it?
I'll use my old CB Handle, "Big Joe Mufferaw", and head down from Ottawa in my canoe!

If your allowed to pull "doubles", I suggest a 8'X20' man cave. With shave den, cigar lounge, and wet bar.
I am waiting on a 5X7 foot screen porch tent that is designed to mount to the side over the door. The 10X10 version would take up to much room to pack.

Go with the big one. JMO Thanks for this! ;) I have been perusing teardrop trailers for days now! :rofl2:
Man, that thing is so cool. I wish I still had my truck!
Yeah buddy, for the members who have never heard of a Studebaker, a quick look.
A 1950 Champion pulling a teardrop trailer. Too cool for school.
That would be cool. However mine will look similar to this!

Those little campers are getting popular. I saw several during my trip to Denver this last weekend. I'm not sure it would work for me: 6' 4", and 250lbs.:ziplip:
Yeah, Dave. You would need the bigger model! The Rain Drop! :D
Or this! The Lemon Drop trailer!

This is what Dave needs

Whoa Dave, now that is it. That is the next best thing to a motor home, maybe better because you can unhook it & use the truck for other things...........
Plus you can take that places where a motor home can't go!!!!!
I have been seeing some off-road models as well. Hook it to the jeep and hit the trails!
