    Default My milestone

    While it may be nothing to our SR veterans, mentors, etc, today marks a milestone for me. It has now been 1 year since a cartridge razor last touched my face.

    Granted I learned with a shavette and did not get a true SR until January 2016. But by this time last year, I got the technique down with the shavette so that I no longer needed to use the cartridge every other shave or finish the tricky spots (such as where the upper and lower lips meet) of my shave.

    My biggest regret was not getting into straights sooner!!

    Nice! Every shave cartridge free makes for one more day without irritation for me. I have a disposable blade made by Weck back in the day. It is a great travel option, as it makes for less stuff to pack. Single edge and great lather is all it takes to get comfortable in my books. Nice milestone, a year of comfort!
