I thought the hanging hair test was supposed to be conducted by holding the razor's edge a few mm above the skin surface, not below it. Ouch!

Yeah, the deeply submerged hair test is not usually recommended.

Carpet needle ? How old are you ? I haven't known of anyone knowing how to use one of those since my dad .
