    Default Does anybody recognize this razor?

    Hey found this on kijiji and I'm trying to see if its a good deal! (ps this would be my second razor)

    The picture is not very clear, but I don't recognize the tang stamp in any form. I also haven't been at this very long, compared to many members here.

    The following link is a good list of straight razor manufacturers that are a solid choice, any day of the week! It is not all-inclusive, but is a great place to start.

    Can you zoom in on the logo?

    There are a lot of damascus razor shaped knives out there.
    The odds are that it is not even a useful knife.

    They are good for learning how to strop and breaking in
    a new home made strop.

    There are occasional great razors like this but they are not common.

    What do you have for a first razor? Let's ignore the potential second one, since it is not a razor. Are you able to shave with your first razor?

    Okay so the consensus is its probably not a razor?

    and I have a c-mon solingen 60, its old so i haven't been able to find much on it. Yup shave ready with the hanging hair test and all.
