Sometimes supposedly grown people behave like spoiled toddlers who can't get their way; they throw a tantrum and eventually pick 'their very special ball' and go home to pout.
We all know how these things go from there - the other kids simply get a new ball and don't even have to put up with the silly antics ;)
Id still like to know some details someday as to what happened. But i guess its a secrete. Oh well, i still enjoy this forum enough that it dont really matter so, away we go and brush it under the rug. This is the forum i will always come to many times a day because of the great people here. No matter what the name is.

The entire forum ebbs and tides, to really notice it it takes years. There was a name change, that's pretty much it as far as I am concerned as the core of the site is still the same. You will notice people come, go, return, and colors change over the years. I use this site to exchange info and knowledge with all, from novice to experts in everything straight razor. What happens politically...I could care less about...I'm not a politician. :chapeau
Forums could improve overtime, I'm happy to share ideas with old and new members her. I longed to talk with people who are also interested with shaving topics.
Bottom line....we lost our 'Place' but moved up to a 'Palace'
I emailed gssixgun and mentioned the forum being down and he pointed me to here.
I had not a clue that anything had happened. Guess that’s what comes from living in a cave for 5 years.

Sounds like we’ve learned VERY similar things in the past 5. My brother didn’t even let me know when he was burying my dad... then he put my mom in a home, and stole all the proceeds of her home sale. Yup.Quote:

Yea, old hat and common knowledge. When parents pass there is a mad scramble for anything negotiable and more families have been broken up by this than anything else regardless if there is a will or not.
