i seem to remember we had a thread about this in the off topic area over the summer... around 37 IIRC the range was 17 - 62
lots of new member since them... maybe we should resurrect the thread.

Since we were asked to supply a DOB when we registered, I was wondering what a quick query of the database would yield.
:nono: I have to say, many of you are a lot younger and others a lot older than you appear... the database accepts whatever you tell it and many of you obviously gave bogus dates... eg, I doubt we have anyone who was really born in 1901!
Anyway, of the data that looks plausible (although not necessarily accurate) here's the scoop:

20-29 36 %
30-39 39 %
40-49 5 %
50-59 12 %
60+ 4 %
It will be interesting to see how the poll compares since only 20% of the membership have reasonable dates in the database.

Actually it looks like we have a fairly even distribution of age. The only surprising thing is that we don't have more 60+ members. Would a higher rate of reluctance to use the internet be a plausible explanation?
