    Default Multipurpose suppliers

So, I've been "shopping" for some stuff.
Right now I'm looking for an alum block and a set of scales for a 6/8 blade..
Classicshaving has some decent looking DOVO scales at what seems a reasonable price... and just about everything else under the sun EXCEPT an alum block.
QED has an alum block, but I can't seem to find scales there... QED also has a $15 minimum order.. I suppose I could order 2 alum blocks, but I wish I could get both from the same place.

Anybody have suggestions on somewhere I could look for decent scales and an alum block in one order? I like to keep things consolodated to shave shipping prices...

I hear you there. I have yet to find a place that
carries everything I need to order at once, although
Classic seems to be the closest.

Actually Classic does sell alum blocks try here:

    http://www.classicshaving.com/page/page/522960.htm

That's the Creams, Soaps, Toiletries page if the link doesn't work. There are 2 brands available, on for 10 bucks, one for 13. (I've just about memorized their online catalog - Vintage Blades too ;^)

    Good luck

It's all about strategically placing orders at VintageBlades, Classic, Lee's,
etc. to satisfy the most pressing ADs of the day

I'm thinking we need to add "AAD" to the dictionary... accessory acquisition disorder. Maybe as a precurser to RAD...
