local Meetings

In my short stay in this forum, I have read and learned a lot (thank you all). One thing that I have not seen -yet- is regional meetings where people get together and talk about their hobby, addictions, etc. Do these type of meetings take place? The reason I am asking is because I read that if you see an expert hone, you can learn a lot in a short time. This could be a good opportunity to see an expert hone a razor live ;-).

perhaps if you would give us an idea of where you live people might be able to help you more and while you are thinking about that .... put you pin in the SRP google map!

another thought is to take the initiative and plan another meeting in your area. You may have a little bit of a drive to get to the majority, but you may not.

and the meetings i have attended have truly been enjoyable and very informative. i have met some good friends through them.

It can be as uncomplicated as you want. Check out the map and see who is in your area.

This was done recently in the mid-mo area and it was a real treat, joke1176 set it up and it was well worth doing and I am looking forward to the next time if possible! Thanks Joe it was sweet!

Outstanding Lee!!!! I was able to find several people around the land of dirty Water. I do not mind organizing but I would like to attend to at least one before I do that.
