Great story, and beautiful razor.
I hope to visit him someday.
Great pics! Looks like you made an excellent choice for your razor...beautiful! It really must have been amazing to actually see where he works on his creations.
Thanks again for sharing.
Good write-up and pictures Johan! I took my family to see the Livi Cotelleri last year and he certainly is incredibly hospitable. And that's a great shaver you managed to pick up.
Hmmm, now you've made me want to go back!
Being able to buy one of these razors must be a joy at any time, but your purchasing experience must surpass that which many here can ever hope to have.
Congrats and thanks for sharing. :tu
What great trip. I know there's been a good reason to make a trip to
Florence this Summer! Now, I've found it.
Thanks
That is a fantastic vacation story. If i could get a tour like that and a razor like that on my vacations, well, I might go on vacations more often. GREAT POST..
Indeed there is! Even more so if I tell you I found a great place in Pisa, Scarlatti (on Borgo Stretto, 18) that carries Floris, Truefitt & Hill, Penhaligion, Taylors of Old Bond Street and more... And the other half of the shop is Pipes and Tobacco! A must to visit if you go to Pisa!

Just a five minute walk from some silly tower that didn't even stand straight...
