    Default currency conversion

I thought of putting this in "finer things" I don't know where the subject should be.

anyone have a favorite currency converter. To be my favorite it should match paypal.
I bought some goods last week or so using an online converter/ I wasn't truly happy with the way the yen put the beat down on my USDs but then when I went to paypal it got down right ugly.

what's the best way to get a match so I can know what I'm spending before I spend it?

Here is a currency conversion calculator that also calculates Paypal's fees:

Just about any converter you use is a ballpark figure because often the medium you use has their own fees structure which may or not reflect the current rates at the time the transaction is posted. Another one though is Xoom.

Doesn't PP also add a 4% fee on top of their other fees for currency conversion?
