    Default razor lengths

I was wondering do all the razors have the same "length". So- the length of the scales+the tang. Not the length of the blade.

I want to make a razor box and as I have only 2 razors... The 4/8 and 5/8 friodurs fit perfectly...

No way! Razors are quite varied especially if you start getting into making your own scales or have others putting them on. There are some razors that are inches shorter and were made that way. At the same time there are much longer razors and they were supposed to be that way too. Depew's had a reeeeally long monkey tail which I doubt would fit in many razor boxes.

Napoleon, is the 5/8 Friodur the exact same size as the 4/8? My Friodur is actually 9/16. I would love to get a slightly bigger blade but I don't want it to be longer than my 9/16. Superb razors, aren't they?

Yes they are of the same length They just barely fit in a box thats 15.2cm in length (so they could be 15cm. I cant measure them cause I've sent them out to be honed).
