    Default Newbie here...

have yet to make the jump to straight's but I think I am mentally getting there and have looked at a few posts and this seems to be the place to get started. Anyone who is looking here be forewarned you are about to be bombarded with questions you've answered a 1,000 times before and bad humor from yours truly. Currently a double edge shaver, and am thinking of making an attempt at straights about mid-june due to work .

Hey come on with the bad humor! And come on with the questions. This place is the HAL 9000 of shaving knowledge.

I lived in Shirley, but have spent a lot of time in the Hamptons. I lived there 20 yrs and moved 8 yrs ago to the mid west

    I'm with Citizen Solid,

    Nubified, razified, terrified!

But 'long with him, eager to chop some facial hair, but hope to avoid hairy kairy.

Already I've learned a few things. E.g. make it sharp!

    Have Thiers-Issard, will travel.

Quite seriously, this is intimidating, and I've only dared the sideburns, twice.

Greetings all, and I do look forward to an education.
