Won't be using my straight for a while.
I was working over time Friday and pinched the pad off of my left pinky finger.
Rather then go back to a "new" (read as triple blade junk) razor, I'm shopping for a DE to use while I heal. No clue about surgery or the next step yet.
What bothers me, besides the obvious, is the fact that I never saw a doctor, only a resident, and the job they did of wrapping it up was on a par with my three year old grand daughter's skill. Discharge instructions were minimal and I don't see the orthopedic surgeon until Tuesday!I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I feel for you, my friend. I had a minor accident as well. But mine was shaving related... I didn't quite get what happend to you, though. But the words "surgeon" and "doctor" never sound good...
Get well quickly!

I hope you get better soon!
I am a little confused though. When you shave with a straight what do you use your pinkie for?
