    Default Traveling with a razor

I'm looking for a case, that I can put a SR in that doesn't cost and arm and a leg. Something that will protect the razor inside my travel kit. Any ideas?

I have never tried this, but how about a plastic box for a toothbrush?

    Best regards

I travel a fair bit, what I use is a tubular plastic thoothbrush case that pulls in half. Just put a piece of foam packaging in each end to stop the razor rattling around and you then have a great little travel case for your razor complete with breather holes, strong too. Most razors with fit in these cases. not sure what they cost in the US but there only 95 cents Aussie at the supermaket. Credit for the idea belongs to David Uthe ink:

I have found that the cases used for sun glasses and eyeglasses, the soft ones, work just fine.

I have always used the plastic toothbrush holders. I think Ray may sell some plastic cases that the Dovo's come in. Maybe even the TI leather cases. Lynn

If you want a nice leather case, a local shoe repair shop should be able to make one for a reasonable price. At least that's the case in my town.

I am finding more and more, that although my bag gets inspected frequently, so long as I check it in, my straight razors are never a problem. Tis nice to have them on the road. Lynn
