They are not a non profit or a public service organization. For the convenience alone I think they deserve a cut. As an ebay seller I resisted using them for a long time but once I got with the program I found it to be a great advantage and worth the cost of doing business. YMMV.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
