    Default A Sentimental Goofball?

Always being something of an anglophile, I was naturally drawn to Wade & Butcher razors. It doesn't hurt that they're the absolute best shavers around, either. I got three in the mail today (2 meatchoppers and 1 5/8" wedge with beautiful bamboo celluloid handles). All three have pitting, and I cleaned them up, but although I removed most of the pitting, I just couldn't bring myself to do anything that would obliterate the writing on the blade. It just seemed like that would make them...incomplete. W&B is the only brand I own I just can't seem to totally recondition. Their pitting and imperfections only serve to make me love them more. All three are, overall, in exceptional shape, with little hone wear, and no chips or cracks. Outside the staining and pitting, which is minor, too, they're as perfect a razor as ever made by man. This is a totally pointless post, I just wanted to brag on my purchases.

P.S. If anybody has some W&Bs or Wostenholm wedges, I got lots to trade for them. (or some good conditon razor coffins...I really need some. I got about 15 razors without boxes)
