    Default Big Thanks to StraightRazorDave.

I wish to give a big thanks to StraightRazorDave.
Just received back two hones that he lapped for me.
A SRD barbers hone and a "mystery" combo hone. Both were sent to him in fairly rough shape.

Dave did a beautiful job, a very smooth finish and now highly usable.

    Thanks Dave

    Larry

You already thanked me! But I do appreciate it, and I'm pleased that you are happy with your hones.

Lapping an old Swaty, for example, takes a LOT of work!

One piece of advice to anyone who buys a hone, such as Norton for example, is to also spring for the lapping stone. It's an absolute necessity if you hone your own razors.
