    Default Allowing wife in bathroom.

I really dig my shave time and pretty much get it to myself most of the time. The thing is, I have found that my wife seems to take it like I am somwehow a guest in her world while I have my 20 minutes of bathroom bliss. Do you guys let your wives prance around you while you are wielding a blade or is the lock on the door? I have attached a poll which I will show my wife if the results are to my advantage.

My wife let's me have my privacy, and the counter space (large counter) but it doesn't bother me if she's in there at the same time. Now the cats on the other hand, I have to lock them out. Seems they have a curiousity about running water and want to bother me while shaving, damn near cut an ear off when a cat jumped up there. So the door stays shut.

Door's locked. This is to keep my two year old (and the rest of the household ) out while shaving. It's one of the few moments of the day I get to enjoy some solitude.

    Cool Envy

I envy you guys that are able to lock the door. It seems that my wife feels the need to start conversations that require concentration whenever I have a blade to my throat. I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent increase in my life insurance policy?

    Gents,

I do as I please. I leave the door open, and NOBODY bothers me. Of course, being single, this is easy. BUT, there are times I wish I needed to lock the door, or have someone to bother me!

I usually get the bathroom to myself so I have not had to worry about my wife coming in and disturbing my concentration. However the other day when I was using my Feather she did begin a conversation and not wanting to offend I entered into dialogue. About that time I sliced off a chunk just above my lips. Bled like crazy. Don't think I want to lose my concentration again like that particularly with a Feather.

    Well,

She's usually still in bed when I'm out the door in the morning so I have the bathroom to myself. The few times she's been around during the ritual she's looked on with curiosity, but stayed well out of my way. I think she's worried about me chopping something off.

Which brings up a very important point. DO NOT shave without adequate protection for you pecker!

    Cool Locked!

Always locked, now, but ONLY after announcing that I am shaving, and that any loud noises or interruptions will be met with an overwhelming and disproportionate response.

    That time is MY time!
