Two Year Olds Are Hazardous To Your Health

Greetings Gentlemen,
Today while shaving, my two year old decided it would be funny to bang on the locked bathroom door to see what daddy was doing.

I was just starting my second pass (ear to chin) when she did this. I opened the door and politely asked her not to knock on the door while I was shaving. Then spent the next 15 minutes trying to stop the bleeding!

Between the styptic pencil and direct pressure I was able to reduce it to a barely visible cut.

Conclusion: 1. Lock master bedroom door to create a safety buffer and 2. Two year olds are hazardous to one's health!

Yikes Rik!! :( Im glad you didn't Cut your throat. No Pun intended at all Sir. But still Yikes! I have cut my thumb bad one day trying some thumb tests and them lil bahstads hurt bad. But like ya say Lock that door. Take care and be careful.

I think you are right!! But since I have two kids I make sure they know that I will tan their bottoms with my strop if they come in while I am shaving.:eek:

Evil still started with the female ....

I had the *exact* same thing happen to me a few months ago! My 13 yo daughter was in some crisis or other, and banged on the bathroom door, just as I was putting blade to skin for a cross-pass near my ear.

I made sure that the wife and both daughters saw the blood running down my chest as I lay down the law for the future!

The slice was so clean a little bit of styptic pencil applied a coupla times stopped it...hehehe...but the effect was that I was almost killed!

All I do is announce I will be shaving now, and the house quiets, and I get my peace until I am done. Got some damned fine shaves that way, too! :)

Mine all want to watch while I shave. they think it's hilarious how I reach around the back of my head with one hand and pull the opposite side of my face almost to the backside of my noggin ;).

My little one even mimicks the faces I make and they all have a good laugh :p
