Not sure if this is the right place, but thought I'd introduce myself.

Over the past year I swapped my very expensive Gilette shaving foam and Fusion for a Shavette, soap and Badger brush.

This was mainly to save money, but I was hooked on it!

I was looking for an affordable "real" straight razor to try get started on, but with christmas coming up and not much cash, I've ended up buying 2 vintage ones from ebay, one 5/8 branded WARWICK for £3.20 and one branded JOSEPH RODGERS, for £8.55.

The cutting edge is fine, but will need a clean up, so I will be restoring these razors over the next couple of weeks during my quiet times in work.

So just thought I'd introduce myself, and get some tips on restoration and hopefully source a UK based Honemeister for when I'm finished with cleaning them up.
