A while back I bought a nice razor on eBay. The seller was throwing in a no name for the hell of it. I threw it in a box and forgot about it. Well, I was feeling my oats after working on the Revisor, so I decided to see if this little ugly duckling would clean up. I got down to business with the dremel and a variety of abrasive wheels and that sucker came to life. Not a superstar, but nice enough. I took it to the stones, unsure if I would be able to make it right. Afew minutes on my FAST cutting 220 Japanese Waterstone and it looked decent without any pitting. I then went through the 1k,2k,5k,8k,15k,.5 routine and took it up for a two-day-growth shave. This sucker took an edge BEAUTIFULLY! I had a great shave with this little blade. It feels a little light and delicate, but it really takes an edge. Anybody else find these Shumates a bargain?
