My Christmas...Dremel Rotary, Bill Ellis Straight Razor Restoration DVD. I picked up Will G's Peppermint and Patchouli Soaps and Shaving Creams. What did Santa bring you?

Are the books about shaving? Are the belts wide enough to be used as an emergency strop?

I have a problem with sharp things. MY little brother actually outbid me on my own Xmas present on Ebay last summer and I only found out Xmas eve. needless to say I was overjoyed and REALLY pissed when I opened it. This won't be very exciting to you guys but to me it's a major piece of my collection. A MINT CONDITION knife that has been out of production for nearly 15 years...also another of my obsessions. I'm going to make a video sometime this week and post it on my other forum and might chuck it up here if anyone is interested.

My wife just tells me to go buy what I want for xmas (within budget) so I bought a starter set w/ the 4 sided paddle strop from Tony today. After a rather lengthy phone conversation with him we decided I would go with a pre-pasted strop with 1 micron and .5 micron on 2 sides. The other side would be left alone to allow me to put what I want on it later. I can't wait.

My wife got me a Filarmonica 7/8, Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shave Cream, Fromm strop dressing, Feather's Nanka/Kanwa trial size cream & aftershave balm, a couple of Judo books and a T-shirt. I made out like a bandit!
