Thanked: 4942The Maestro Does It Again!!
You guys won't believe it. The Maestro has teamed up with Mr. Shousi Takeda and has been working on some exiting new razors. Pictures number R87 and R92 are Aogami Super Steel forged by Mr. Takeda and R86 is a Damascus Suminagashi also forged by Mr. Takeda. The R87 and R92 are AS high carbon content steel in 3 layers and the Damascus is AS Damascus in 28 layers. Absolutely amazing!!!! This is why the Maestro is the MAESTRO. Lynn

Those are wonderful looking, Lynn.
Now, if he'd like to send me one to try...
*whistful sigh* Well, maybe someday.

I think those look better than a lot of his other ones. More traditional. I'm sure their price is just as high, though.

Takeda is an amazing smith. His knives are prized by chefs the world over. He is very adept in the forging of Blue paper Hitachi steel. Exciting news.

Thanked: 4942Hi Larry,
I don't have any prices from the Maestro, so I didn't put them up. They were so cool, that I had to at least show them here.
