Ladies and Gentlemen here is a contest that you just have to see to believe designed for “Newbies”,,,This contest is one to beat all others !!!!,

One of SRP"s very generous Senior members donated a Fantastic gift (pic below) put together especially for a “newbie” shaver.... Full value on this prize package has been calculated to be $370 !!!!! Unbelievable generosity here...


The rules are fairly simple:

First: a description of a “Newbie” as defined for this contest, "Anyone that has been a member of SRP from 12:01 am EDT October 1, 2009 thru 11:59 pm EDT March 31, 2010 a six month period.

Second: The donor desired that no one sign up as an SRP member just for the purpose of entering the contest, existing members only for this one.... So if you join the membership after March 31st the contest has already started and you are not be eligible for this contest....

Third: You must write a short essay with the subject being: "How I got interested in straight razor shaving, and how has SRP helped me in improving and staying interested in straight razor shaving."

We will be grading on originality, believability (in other words don’t create something that is out of this world, keep it real.) Grammar and spelling won’t be an issue.

You need to write this as a PM (Private Message) to me “str8razor” AND Glen “gssixgun” as we are going to be the judges. DO NOT SUBMIT AN ENTRY TO THIS THREAD ONLY A PM ENTRY TO STR8RAZOR AND GSSIXGUN. ALSO PLEASE TYPE "NEWBIE CONTEST" IN THE TITLE LINE OF THE PM. Try to limit the essay to 500 words or less. You must send each entry to both of us. There will only be one entry per person. This contest will start at 12:01 am EDT on April 1, 2010 and last until 11:59 pm EDT April 21, 2010. Entries dated after 11:59 pm April 21, 2010 will not be admitted. YOU MAY MAKE COMMENTS TO THIS THREAD BUT NOT AN ENTRY.
