Could be that he/she inheritted the money and lots of it. I doubt that someone would buy useless razors on stolen cards. There are better ways to siphon cash out of a card.
I look at it this way: If I had money to burn it would be no ones business on how I spent it. It is my money. So when I see someone burning through his own cash, I just shrug it off as his business and not mine. I don't know their story so can't even guess to why they do it.
It is hard to predict how we would splurge if we had more than we can spend in a lifetime. You'd be surprised how different the world looks when you are sitting on a huge pile of cash.
If you've never had money to burn you can't guess what it would be like or how it would change you. Just like you can't predict your own reaction under severe stress or extreme threat, unless you've been there.

Well I'm glad I'm not so rich that I'm bored to the point of spending it recklessly. I just wish I had my own place, paid for, with a building on it big enough that my children and I could practice our sports inside and enough acreage on it that I could keep the rest of the world at a safe enough distance that I could grow my own garden without fear of the ground being poisoned by someone elses chemicals, a few hundred wooded acres should do ;)
For whats it's worth .. I was also brought up in a typical scottish housing scheme , not a lot of money to be had , still fun times .... my upbringing taught me the value of a pound/ dollar - I've walked away from some of these bids on ebay ( definition of walked away : an educated guess that the person bidding against me would bid higher ) :eek: .. from the group I've ( I'm ) learning paying big bucks doesn't mean your going to get a good razor -- my dubl duck goldedge is a prime example , it's on it's way to vladsch for possibly a honemiester hone job or for him to tell me it's beyond that ... another valuable lesson learned on my part.

I am with you on that. It bothers me to pay (what I percieve) more than what an item is worth. But you can get caught up with ebay bidding.
Too true ... just to add to my ( can't really think of a description to use here ) addiction / habbit /hobby -- I recieved my half hallow from Randydance this morning it's in my bag next to me here at work and Im itching to get home to try it -- I've only held it and it just feels so right compared to the full hollows I have ( 8 I think ) , theres not many half hollows up for grabs on ebay so maybe this is going to save me a fortune or kill me trying to find some more .. :shrug:Quote:
