Blast from the past #2

This time I took a post from the stropping forum which is dear to my heart since I started it. It was called The Grand Experiment. The idea originally was to take two identical razors SRP TI LE #s 38 and 39 and strop one before and after shaving and the other before only with a routine of 6 passes on linen and 30 on the leather. I decided to add a third razor and do 60 passes before shaving on it a 6/8s TI.

So what do you think happened? Before you look up the thread get yourself a nice mug of coffee and some danish and settle in for some reading.The original thread was long and complicated and convoluted and later I did a phase 2 which we'll bring up at a later date.

You can read the whole thread or just post 67 which summarizes the result but if you only read that you'll be missing all the fun.

So what do you think?

I've been through that thread and the sequel many times. Appreciate your efforts in doing the grand experiment to begin with.
